Separate NYC from Upstate NY

I believe I speak for a vast majority of people outside of NYC when I say we are tired of footing the bill for the city and not getting a say in our government because of the large population within the city..I propose separate the city from upstate ..Rename upstate NY to New Amsterdam with our own government including our own govenor!!
