The Good, The Bad, The Hurricane

Hurricanes happen every so often. But when they do, they can be quite destructive; injuring civilians, destroying property and land and wrecking homes to nothing more than rubble. While there are organizations specifically designed to rescue civilians from specific scenarios such as hurricanes, it feels like it is not enough.

So once people get saved and the hurricane ahs died down, what happens to those people? Do they get their homes rebuilt? If not then where do they go? Often times the safety of the people are top priority when it comes to natural disasters, yet once the problem is no longer a problem, that priority is no longer relevant. Some people are left completely homeless by such events like hurricanes, and not just homes are taken away from the people but schools, communities, even some shelters get lost in the madness. That is why I have created this petition to ensure the government and the president create shelter homes for those who have lost their own homes. But these shelters must also be handled and treated with the up most respect and care. They must be fortified for ANY natural disaster and also must feel like a true home.

Help those who might not be able to help themselves, to give them a new home, to ensure them that not ALL is lost.
