Sack Pahlaj Nihalani from Censor Board #SackNihalani

Freedom of Expression is a fundamental right, especially in the field of Art and Cinema. The newly constituted Censor Board of India known as the Central Board for Film Cetification though has acted in total violation of Freedom of Expression. As an example, harmless words like "kutte kamine" and "lesbian" were banned in recent films, without looking into the context of usage.

Most apalling are the views of CBFC chief Pahlaj Nihalani, who in an interview called for total censorship on films like Ishqiya. Hence, we demand that Pahlaj Nihalani be immediately be sacked and replaced by someone with progressive views.
