Tell Wisconsin Governor Walker: Do Not Deny Women Equal Pay!

The war on women wages on, with women's reproductive rights being the center of debate for male politicians--and now, with legislation enforcing equal pay on the verge of being repealed in Wisconsin.

SB 202, a bill that would repeal the Equal Pay Enforcement Act, sailed through the Senate in November and now faces authorization by Governor Scott Walker (R), who is expected to sign it.

The passage of SB 202 would mean wage discrimination towards women and older workers for the benefit of businesses.

We cannot, under any circumstances, allow this bill to pass and let the United States regress back to state-sanctioned discrimination and forsake all the progress the country has made for all individuals to be recognized as equals.

Tell Gov. Walker that discrimination has no place in the United States and to veto SB 202!
Dear Gov. Scott Walker:

We, the undersigned, are writing to voice our deep concern for the impending passage of SB 202, which would repeal the 2009 Equal Pay Enforcement Act.

The passage of SB 202 would mean wage discrimination towards women and also older workers for the benefit of businesses--and would also let the United States would regress to a time where state-sanctioned discrimination was legal, even encouraged.

At a time where women's rights are continually being threatened, we urge you not to take this a step further by treating women like second-class citizens. SB 202 will ensure that women are to be literally of less value in the workplace.

Discrimination has no place anywhere in the United States of America anymore. By signing SB 202, you would be taking a misogynistic stance and forsaking all fo the progress the country has made for all individuals to be recognized as equals.

The Equal Pay Enforcement Act is a law that is still relevant and needs to remain intact. Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely,
