We, the parents of STM students, parishioners and other stakeholders, are requesting and in prayer, that Father Bob and the parish leadership offer Charlie Seamans the permanent principal position.

Lord hear our prayer,
Charlie Seamans serves as the Interim Principal of St. Thomas More (STM) Catholic School in Decatur, Georgia. A native of Atlanta, he brings over 17 years of experience in both public and Catholic education.
Prior to his current role, Seamans was STM's Assistant Principal for four years, where he was instrumental in developing the school's "Tiger Traits" — core values of joy, gratitude, compassion, curiosity, and courage — that shape the school's community and character initiatives.
Under his leadership, STM is navigating a landmark year: celebrating its 75th anniversary, opening a brand-new two-story classroom building for K–5, and rolling out major campus renovations with a strong focus on sustainability. stmga.org Seamans has championed initiatives such as installing 100 solar panels on the new building — making STM the first Catholic school in Georgia to go solar — as part of a broader effort to model environmental stewardship.
Seamans also emphasizes faith formation, academic excellence, and relational community-building. In his welcome message, he frames the school year around the Jesuit-inspired theme of "Community Renewal," encouraging the STM family to live intentionally, deepen relationships, and "find God in all things."
He is deeply committed to the "whole child" approach — not just intellectual growth but moral, spiritual, and social development — aligning with STM's mission to nurture lifelong learners who serve others and make moral decisions rooted in Gospel values. stmga.org+1
In his own words:
"As one STM family, we celebrate our new building, our 75-year legacy, and the abundant blessings God continues to provide … I look forward to walking this path with each of you as we embrace the blessings of this new chapter, filled with love, hope, and the deep joy of knowing Christ is present in every heart, hallway, and classroom."

Not our Will, but Your Will be done.

In the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Amen
