Tell Your Senator: Nobody Voted to Make America Dirty Again
Trump’s proposed budget for FY 2018 will slash the EPA budget by more than 31%, gutting bedrock pollution protection programs and hobbling enforcement of basic clean air standards. This budget is a naked attempt to put power in the hands of polluters.
As parents, we are outraged at this proposal. We depend on EPA to protect our families from asthma, heart attacks, preterm birth, neurological damage, cancer, strokes, and other health issues linked directly to air pollution.

Dear Senator,
As a parent, I am outraged by Trump’s proposed budget cuts to the EPA. Under this budget, EPA would be unable to detect and measure pollution, unable to enforce pollution laws, and unable to make sure companies clean up their pollution. EPA promulgates and enforces lifesaving pollution prevention measures that protect me and my family from the asthma, heart attacks, preterm birth, neurological damage, cancer, strokes, and other health issues linked directly to air pollution. Gutting the budget of this agency is a direct attack on my health and the health of my children.
No one voted to Make America Dirty Again. Please oppose this dangerous budget.
