Across the state,10 congressional seats, and 123 seats in the legislature are up for grabs! It's time we put the pressure on our state elected officials to ensure more affordable housing is built to support the over 40,000 people experiencing homelessness in the county.

It is evident — here in King County and across the state — that the solution to homelessness is housing. There simply are not enough apartments, townhomes, or houses that regular people can afford. Rents keep going up, and people are paying more and more for housing as a percentage of income. We need elected officials who are going to support funding programs that don't put a bandaid on homelessness, but get to the root cause of it: affordable housing.
