Tell Congress cancer research funding isn't optional – it's essential

Over the past year, several federal funding proposals have been put forward that would slash cancer research funding – some by as much as 40%. Massive cuts like this would have life-threatening consequences. Urge your members of Congress to protect and increase lifesaving cancer research funding.

For the past 50 years, every major breakthrough in cancer treatment has been thanks to federally funded research at the National Cancer Institute. It's why more people are surviving a cancer diagnosis than ever before. We've made huge progress in the fight against cancer, but the fight is far from over.

We can't go back. Cuts have consequences.
