Join the fight to stop the #TrumpTaxScam now

On November 2, Republicans unveiled the language of the "Tax Cuts and Jobs Act" (or as we call it, the #TrumpTaxScam). At the heart of the bill are huge giveaways to corporations and massive tax cuts for wealthy individuals like the President, his family, and his cronies.

For corporations, Republicans want to slash the corporate tax rate and give corporations new incentives to move their operations offshore. As for Trump and his rich friends, Republicans want to lower the tax rate for wealthy Americans and do away with the Alternative Minimum Tax (AMT), which ensures that even the wealthiest individuals can not exploit tax loopholes to get out of paying taxes altogether.

These giveaways for the 1% would explode the deficit. And, just like they did after the 2001 and 2003 Bush Tax Cuts, Republicans would turn around and demand deep cuts to vital programs for the most vulnerable Americans: Medicaid, Medicare, and Social Security.

Right now, Republicans are trying to sell this plan as being good for the middle class and small business – but we know that's not who the Trump Tax Scam benefits. They think people are going to fall for their scam, and that we won't fight back against it. We must prove them wrong.
