Tourist Development

We the undersigned Bermudians believe that Tourism should return to being the first pillar of the Bermuda economy, especially in light of the fact that there is no guarantee the the U.S. Government will continue to allow American Companies to do business in Bermuda without penalty. We believe that the proposed Southlands Resort development is of such strategic, national importance the the Environment Minister should grant a Special Development Order for the project after being assured by the developers that all environmental and other concerns will be addressed. We believe that the proposed development will only impact positively on the Bermuda community.
