FATHER SENTENCED TO 22 YEARS FOR ACCIDENT

My husband was sentenced to 22 years at 100 percent in 2001 for the accidental death of our infant daughter. David was only 21. David had Laid Deserae to bed on her stomach on October 27, 2001 and when he awoke he found her lying face down and not breathing. The autopsy stated our beloved child died of asphyxiation (suffocation) and it was ruled an accident. However, the detective charged my husband with second-degree murder and even stated during the preliminary that it was accidental. We are asking that the state reduce his sentence so he can be with his family. David plead guilty due to lack of sufficent counsel and fear. Please keep our family in your prayers.
