Opposition to proposed zoning change from A1 Agricultural to R1 Residential for 284 acre property fronting Gwynn Lane., Double Log Cabin Road and E. Old Laguardo Road. Property is currently zoned as A1 Agricultural. Proposed zoning change to 1 acre lots w

We the undersigned, are concerned citizens living on Gwynn Lane, Double Log Cabin Road and East Old Laguardo Road, who urge our leaders to act now to oppose the zoning change from A1 Agricultural to R1 Residential for the Jones Brothers/Dale McCulloch Estate Sale property fronting Gwynn Lane, Double Log Cabin Road and East Old Laguardo Road, located close to Highway 109 North in Wilson County, Tennessee. Existing road infrastructure on Gwynn Lane, East Old Laguardo Road and especially Highway 109 North is not adequate for additional, large housing development. Current traffic on Gwynn Lane is already heavy with residents from neighboring communities using Gwynn Lane, often at high rates of speed, to avoid highway 109 congestion. Residents currently living on E. Old Laguardo Road and Gwynn Lane, especially oppose the disruption to our agricultural way of life that a large, multi home subdivision would bring to our existing way of life and community.

Hello Neighbors & Friends, RE: Proposed zoning change for 284 acre property fronting Gwynn Lane, Double Log Cabin Road and E. Old Laguardo Road. There will be a hearing at the Wilson Country Court House at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, July 15, 2016 to propose a zoning change from A1 Agricultural to R1 Residential for the 284 acre property fronting Gwynn Lane, Double Log Cabin Road and E. Old Laguardo Road. This property is currently zoned as A1 Agricultural. The proposed zoning change to R1 Residential will allow the developer to build a residential subdivision with one acre lots, as many as 250 single family homes and possible duplexes as well. We are opposed to this zoning change. The existing road infrastructure on Gwynn Lane and East Old Laguardo Road and especially Highway 109 North is not adequate for this additional, large housing development. Current traffic on Gwynn Lane is already heavy with residents from neighboring communities using Gwynn Lane, often at high rates of speed, to avoid Highway 109 congestion. Additionally, we oppose the disruption of our agricultural way of life that a large, multi-home residential development will bring to our existing way of life and community. If you agree and would like to stop this residential development, please join us at the Wilson County Courthouse, 228 E. Main Street, Lebanon, TN (where you register your car title/obtain license plates) at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 15, 2016. For more information, please call Tracy, or Dave Meadows, (615) 495-9966, (615)877-1548.
