DEMAND FOR SECONDARY ACCESS OUT OF THE BEND AREA OF RED BLUFF, CALIFORNIA, IN THE EVENT OF FIRE, THROUGH PROPERTY OWNED BY THE BUREAU OF LAND MANAGEMENT VIA PAYNES CREEK ROAD, RED BLUFF, CALIFORNIA

Residents of the Bend Area in Red Bluff, California (of which there are over 2,000) in case of emergency, i.e., fire, earthquake, similar disasters, currently have one-way access out, via Bend Ferry Road/Jellys Ferry Road ONLY. This Petition is for the purpose of demanding a secondary route out through the Bureau of Land Management property via Paynes Creek Road. This accessway would require debris removal, and a platform to cross Paynes Creek. By signing this Petition, one is agreeing that an alternative route is necessary, and that the work be performed to provide said secondary route out of the Bend Area.
