Wealthy Clothing Brands Must Pay Workers A Living Wage!

Forida wears a headscarf to protect her identity.

Could you raise a family on 62 cents per hour? That's how little women like Forida (pictured) can be paid.

Right now, millions of the women who make our clothes are entrenched in a cycle of poverty. They live in cramped, concrete rooms in crowded slums. They share one tap, with running water not always available. Why? Because big clothing brands allow these workers to be paid poverty wages.

No matter how hard Forida and her fellow garment workers work, they still struggle to survive on the meagre wages permitted by big brands.

As people who buy clothes, we have the power to force this industry to change and ensure women like Forida receive a living wage.

Sign the pledge today to tackle poverty in the fashion industry by demanding big clothing brands pay a living wage to the women who make our clothes.
