Yes, it's a free world. People have the right to their opinions and the right to speak their peace, but some people are really abusing the privelige!!
Every day, I get notices of petitions by uptight feminists who are too insecure about themselves to tolerate anyone who says anything contrary to their agenda of professional victimhood, blaming politicians for circumstances they have NO control and little-to-no influence over, women demanding free hygene products, poor malnourished seals which has more to do with fewer of them being eaten than with Alaskan fishing, gun-control lobbyists touting bogus 'facts', or demanding sequels to kids' movies.
This crap really needs to stop! These petition sites normally do a lot of good, and many of these petitions are honest worthwhile endeavors worthy of notice and support. But these are becoming more and more buried under a morasse of pet causes, self-entitlement, and radical propaganda.
If you're not going to enforce any sort of ethics upon the sorts of petitions people start - which all too often clutter our inboxes with useless garbage to sift through in our efforts to find legitimate causes - at least give us the option to "down-sign" or otherwise speak out against these abusive travesties!
