It's terrible to imagine: The merciless slaughter of baby seals has started on the ice floes off Canada's east coast -- completely defenseless animals beaten and shot to death for their fur. It's the largest commercial slaughter of marine mammals on Earth.

It's up to you and me and every conscientious, humane person around the world to send the Canadian fishing industry a message they can't ignore: Stop killing baby seal pups, or we won't buy your seafood.
