Tell Stephen Harper to Protect Omar Khadr

There is new evidence that Omar Khadr, a Canadian detainee in Guantanamo Bay, has been mistreated since his detainment in 2002, when he was just 15 years old.  The Prime Minister, Stephen Harper, says that he asked for assurances that Khadr was not being mistreated, but Khadr's lawyers claim the Canadian government knew about Khadr's treatment and did nothing about it.  To add insult to injury, Harper says that he will not ask the US to repatriate Khadr.

Demand that the Canadian government protect its citizens and make sure that they are not being mistreated while being detained.

Dear Prime Minister Harper,We the undersigned are concerned about the mistreatment of Omar Khadr.  There is recent evidence that he has been mistreated in Guantanamo Bay.  Despite this, your government continues to do very little about this issue.  Please protect your citizens by demanding that he be treated well.
