'Security Guards' In WA Need To Get Their Act Together

This is why I had one of the worse days of my life today: I see a child being abused,I go to report it, I get told the following:

* " Sorry we cant approach them because we need to see the abuse ourselves"...erm okay...right...so why tell the world to come to you if we need to report something?

*" It is only an offense if the slap or blow is above the waist"...hm right..okay,so if a husband hit his wife across the legs,on her hands,her bottom (without her consent,sometimes I let my husband slap my butt cus it's a little thing called flirting) than yes,I suppose that would be quite fine too..ahm..sure..yep okay

Now this is from a 'Security Guard' I know for a fact that in some other countries they are alot tougher and do their job,they track these freaks down and they give the abused justice.

I tried to explain to this person that it is abuse regardless of age, is just as abusive to slap a child below the waist,to slap a child anywhere is abusive, and ecspecially their bottoms because it is sexual harrassment,it is an assault.I tried explaining this in the most nicest kindest way I possibly could.And now get this,I even showed this person who the woman was. The woman was right in front of us,with her kids,right there,the 'security guard' saw them and knew exactly of who and what I was talking about.
Yet,did nothing.Because she had to have seen the abuse herself and oh,it was only a slap below the waist so she wouldnt have been able to do anything anyway.
What a load of bullshit.How is this fair? Exactly, it isnt.
Please sign this and help encourage our Australian government to do the right thing.
"Above the waist..." Pathetic.Wrong.Not right.Abuse.Simple.
I couldnt bear to look at this person. All I could muster was 'Well I think it's unfair"And yes I looked stupid and started crying,I marched away and just kept thinking to myself,'there is no justice,there is no justice,there is none of it,this is so unfair'.
I would like to see these so-called 'Security Guards' do their job for bloody once.
'Security' means to protect. 'Security' means to try to keep people safe. They better try and uphold their name or they will end up upsetting alot more people not just me.It wouldnt surprise me if they already have.The reason why I say 'Security Guards' is because this incident has not been the first.So far I have come across none of them that do their job.
It is pathetic and it needs to stop.
