Demand Non-Toxic Green Building Products

Building products can be green by what they do (save energy, water) and by what they are (recycled content, non toxic).

Unfortunately, many products on the market (and available in big box stores) contain many toxins - and are not green in many other ways. "greenwash" and false claims confuse consumers and there are no regulatory requirements for truth in advertising.

There has been a growth in the green building products industry - all because purchasers and specifiers have demanded it.

Help us accelerate the change by adding your name to the petition and we will leverage the collective voice to promote the change we need to see.

By signing this pledge, you publicly declare your commitment to specify or purchase green products that:

* Are truthful and transparent in their claims

* Meet continuously increasing levels of sustainability

Your signature acknowledges your support of these principles, and your participation in the industry-wide efforts of Green Product Association to transform the market so that green building and operations become mainstream, and will be used to show manufacturers what your priorities and interests are.
