Edgefield County Animal Welfare Laws

This petition exists for the sole purpose of letting the elected officials of Edgefield County, South Carolina know that we the citizens of this county demand animal welfare laws and ordinances!

This petition will be turned into county officials upon reaching the goal of and adequate amount of signatures of residents of Edgefield County. We demand progress and change in Edgefield County for the welfare of our pets!

We demand shelter, confinement and chaining ordinances, abuse, neglect and abandonment ordinances.  We demand adequate punishments, fines and/or jail time for violations of said laws and ordinances.

We need laws to ensure change in the treatment of our animals. We are tired of the deplorable treatment of animals that occurs in Edgefield County. We demand action be taken by our county officials on this matter.

Signing this petition will help to ensure the domestic animals/pets of Edgefield County will be protected under the law.
