Michigan deer feeding and baiting ban
The MDNR enacted an interim order to ban the use of feed for recreational viewing and baiting as a viable tool in the hunting of deer in Michigan .
Our goal is to let the MDNR that as citizens we are against the ban
We the undersigned ask for your support to help lift the ban on feeding and baiting deer for hunting in Michigan.
Help in letting the Michigan DNR know that we the undersigned are against their position.
Many Michigan residents use feeding for recreational veiwing, with this ban they will no longer be able to feed the deer which has been able to help deer survive harsh Michigan winters. With this ban in effect many deer will die this winter!!!
Baiting of deer for practical hunting purposes has been a long standing tradition in Michigan and has been a viable tool in helping maintain the deer population. Without baiting and/or feeding many deer will be forced to struggle to find food for winter.
