After several years of raping and murders with light sentences and even no jail time for raping/molesting/assaulting kids 16 and under this state has yet to have a ZERO tolerence policy (
Megans law) for the men and woman who commit these heinous crimes. With the repeat offense rate of over 85% (most professionals believe these predators can never control themselves again) leaving it up to the liberal judges in the state to give any sentence they deem appropriate is and unacceptable practice. I hope each and every one of you research this phenomenon and decide to sign this petition so we can protect the kids of this and every other state. It is up to us.
Our children are innocent victims of brutal attacks which can physically and mentally hurt them for the rest of their lives. Some are even killed by those who prey on their innocense from the tender age of 16 and younger. It is time we the people remove these predators from society by mandating each and every state have Megans Law. This law has a zero tolerence and takes the decisions of punnishment away from Liberal judges, DA'S and lawyers. 20 to life sentences is mandated for first time abuse of a minor.
