Save Norsemen Park! Save McDougall Field!

Incredibly, they could be lost to developers if the City tries to go ahead with any of the ill-conceived options proposed for the Harry Jerome Recreation Centre at Lonsdale & 23rd.

Implications include mega-density and mega-development forced through on park land:

• trashes the Official Community Plan
• traffic congestion; parking nightmares
• drastic social change
• loss of playing fields and jogging track
• tennis courts gone
• loss of views and quality of life
• financial risk for the City of North Vancouver

A repeat of the Vancouver Olympic Village fiasco?  Do not let it happen!
