Tell the US Congress that "insider trading laws" should apply to them!

UPDATE:  As of 12-2-11 106 Congressional Sponsors have come forward to back the STOCK ACT...this is working...!!

Congress and others who are now on the Hill are allowed to trade in business's effected by their actions. John Boehner and Nancy Pelosi are just two who have filed SEC paperwork showing they traded on dates listed before the date they voted on legislation which effected those trades.  This is "insider trading" for other investors.  But they are (not) breaking any "laws" on the books as of now.  All of Congress gets "important information" that can effect the stock prices when applied. Then they can trade on that information making a profit. We MUST REMOVE THAT TEMPTATION!  To do that the must pass the Stock Act HR1148.  Oddly enough, Congressman/women ignore the "Stock Act" every time it is introduced, and it goes nowhere!  We as American voters and the world (effected by US financial markets) must stand up and make our Congress take notice that we are watching them for "insider trading!"   Pass HR1148 Stock Act.
