Substitute teachers are teachers too!!
It is to promote substitute teachers because they do just what the other teachers do,but they don't get national insurance benefits or other benefits that fulltime teachers get and they work just as hard or even harder and that is really unfair to them.
Hello and good day to the Minister of education and the Prime Minister of T&T.
We the undersigned would like you to take a moment to please read the contents of this letter.As a concerned citizen I am aware that the substitute teachers in this country are not given the same treatment as the other teachers.In the event that something happens to a sub.teacher for whatever reason or they are out of work they can make no claim to NIB,they have to be working for at least 3 months before any claim can be made even maternity leave.It is rather unfair as we all know a su.teacher does not work for very long at a time.It would be very generous of you if you could take just a few minutes out of your busy schedule to address this situation
