Wanna Fight?
This petition is a call for a more holistic and more democratic process that we should follow before making decisions concerning foreign relations. How often have executive decisions made you ask yourself "Why?"? How often have poor executive decisions affected you negatively? How often are these decisions made without giving consensus to the general public? If we are truly a Democratic system then these decisions should be by the people for the people. This is a call for change. This is a plea for change.We the people should be a factor in decisions concerning our foreign relations. For, are not we the ones who have to deal with their repercussions?
To whom it may concern,
We the undersigned, strongly believe in a change in the process of which our country acts upon foreign countries. We seem to have lost the core value of a democratic government. We would like to see a more holistic and democratic system come into play. Our federal republic government was established in the United States for the people, by the people. We have lost this concrete form of government. There have been many cases in our past where the government has acted solely on their own concerns, without any form of consent from the citizens. We have seen this reality play out again recently in Libya. We should uphold the right to have a say in the way our country is performing. The decisions they are making without the people is directly affecting us. We are the entire reason a government system even exits, so where did our say go? We want to thank you for taking the time to read our concerns, and strongly hope you take this issue into effect.
