U.S. Congresspeople should not be able to freely call for the slaughter of innocent people, but that's exactly what Tennessee Republican Representative Andy Ogles did this week.
A pro-Palestine activist asked Ogles to respond to the horrors that the U.S.-backed Israeli military is committing against Palestinians in Gaza, saying "I've seen the footage of shredded children's bodies... That's my taxpayer dollars that are going to bomb those kids." Ogles responded in the most horrific way: he said, "we should kill them all."

Children are dying in Gaza right now. In fact, an official with the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) warned that Gaza is "poised to witness an explosion in preventable child deaths" as sickness and disease spread rapidly across the trapped population. According to Save the Children, more than 10 Gaza children per day have lost one or both of their legs since October 2023.
There is no excuse for such violent, hateful rhetoric from a sitting congressperson.
Sign the petition to demand the U.S. House Committee on Ethics do the right thing and not allow Representative Ogles get away with such a horrifying statement.
