A boarding facility in Ontario, Canada has been left in turmoil after
someone snuck onto the property in the night and stabbed 8 horses.One of the horses was so badly injured, it tragically passed away at the scene.Another was in such horrific condition that it had to be transported to an emergency vet nearly two hours away in order to get lifesaving treatment.
And six more are wounded and healing at the farm.

facility where this took place was a boarding farm. This means that some of the horses belong to the farm itself and are beloved pets, as well as lesson, leisure, or show horses. Other horses at the facility are being kept there by loving families who don't have a farm of their own.
Every one of these horses was a special companion to someone, which makes their attack all the more heartbreaking.How horrifying for the person who arrived first to the farm that morning -- finding a horse that had been killed, and then slowly discovering more injuries on other animals.
Police are still not sure who is responsible for this, so we must keep up the pressure.
If someone was capable of injuring so many horses this badly, they are an absolute threat to other farms, as well as people and other pets. We cannot let another day go by where they are not found and held responsible!
