Stop preparing for test, start preparing for the real world

In public school students are being taught and prepared to take test. They don't teach the students real world problems. Students dont get taught how to pay bills, how to file taxes, how to vote, how to fill out a job application, etc. this is bad for students because when they go into the real world, what is going to happen? How will they react? Will they be prepared? Kids who are not prepared do not take responsibility for their actions. If they're not prepared they will think everyone will always be there to bail them out. This is how students in public schools are being taught. Why are childern being taught how to take test and not how to live and be successful?
