Ban Bullfighting, Bull-Wrestling, Cow Fighting and other bloodsports and fiestas across Europe!

In bullfighting, the bull may be kept for days without water until he is severely thirsty. Just before the bullfight, he would be given a lot of alcohol to drink, so that all of his reactions are affected. Alternatively, some bulls have sacks dropped down on their backs or vaseline smeared into their eyes to weaken them. They are then often tormented and stabbed to death. They may also have their horns cut off and/or tongues cut out whilst they are conscious. The horses used in bullfights sometimes have their vocal cords cut so that the crowds don’t hear them whinnying in pain as they are gored by frightened bulls.
In bull-wrestling/cow-wrestling, cows and bulls are forced to fight. Although this is typically a non-lethal bloodsport, they could still get hurt.
Cruel fiestas and practices could include the running of the bulls and tying fire to the tails of bulls, as well as riding horses through fire.
Please stop all cruel and unnecessary bullfighting, cow fighting, bull-wrestling, fiestas and the riding of horses through fire.
