Ban The Sadistic Tradition Of Setting Bulls On Fire.

People in the Spanish town of Medinaceli think it's fun to light a bull's horns on fire and cheer as it thrashes around in agony.

At midnight, the cruel Toro Júbilo festival begins again. Dozens of townsfolk find a helpless bull and tether it to a post in the town square.

While the frightened creature bleats in confusion, they attach balls of pitch to his horns and smear his face and back with mud for "protection", according to The Atlantic.

Then a man approaches with a flaming torch, as the bull watches in fear. He proceeds to light the pitch on fire, and watches as the animal writhes.

The ropes are cut, and the tortured bull charges about frantically, desperate to put out the blaze.

Blinded by the light of the fire and scalded by the searing heat, he is surrounded by scores of shouting people, some of whom duck and dodge in front of him in a foolish display of false bravado.

Having no hands, the bull's only chancing of extinguishing the flames is to butt his head into a wall, or the ground; sometimes they injure themselves in their panic, and it's all to no avail.

The bull has no choice but to endure the torment until the fuel attached to his horns has burned away.

Don't you want to stop this cruel, heartless tradition, before any more bulls are made to suffer for the entertainment of humans?
