Demand to utilize back yard as back yard

I have installed a chicken coop on the back yard of my property and the township is stating that I have to move it to the side of my property because they feel I have two front yards because there are two streets facing my property.
The front of my house faces the street for which my mailing address is. I am petitioning my neighbors to help me convince the township to recognize the back yard of my property as my true back yard and allow me to retain the chicken coop where it is. I plan on lowering the height of the coop from eight feet to four feet.
