We are sending out the letter again soon, no response so far, we will print it if thats what it takes and go down there ourselves to express our outrage about this issue...We do need over 9 more signs, so anybody sharing this petition we thank!
We the undersigned, are all in agreement you should shut down the Alamosa veal farm.Over 300 people have signed the petition asking you to
shut down the Alamosa county veal farm, and we wish you do. You can
view the letter, signatures, and comments signers left at the attached
petition. We all wish you shut down the veal farm immediately, even if
this means current calves are slaughtered. If it is not suitable for
you to shut down the veal farm (for a/or multiple good reasons of why
animals should be treated that way) we wish you give them two choices
being-
1. Have the farm shut down
Or
2. Expand ALL pens live animals are kept in to at least 8' x 5' and
give proper shelter, health care, and do not neglect or abuse them,
otherwise, the farm will be shut down permanently. And also that they
humanely slaughter ALL animals, and/or have to put a video camera
inside their slaughter facility, that shows when animals entering the
slaughter facility, are prepared for slaughter, and finally
slaughtered. If they fail to do this, they should be shut down
permanently for not being able to follow simple cautions, care
methods, and rules.
