Stop the use of untruthful and abusive propaganda on social media by local councillor and town mayor

Fenland District Council sets a dangerous precedent by condoning town Mayor to “ridicule” people and publically make unsubstantiated claims that individuals are liars, “racists” "generic haters” and even “scumbags”?

In response to an earlier complaint not only does Cllr Tierney further attack those who attempted to address his behaviour but the 41-page response, he entered to the FDC as a defence, contained no evidence whatsoever and can be evidenced to consist of the most brazen untruths and irrational arguments. This we believe was done with a deliberate intent to deceive and pervert the outcome of the original complaint.

Despite an elected conduct committee member already voicing his concerns that such behaviour was "a form of bullying" and the voluminous amount of documented evidence against Cllr Tierney, the Independent Panel (IP) dismissed the complaint as not even worthy of the conduct committees consideration!

Therefore we are petitioning the FDC for this case to be assessed by alternative officers or, as its believed the IP is unfit for purpose, this case be directly forwarded to the conduct committee.
