The current political climate and actions of the government threaten the safety, rights, and well-being of all Americans, and we believe that waiting until 2028 is no longer acceptable. Our nation is in crisis, and decisive action is needed now.

**Reasons for Urgency:**

1. **Racial and Immigrant Rights Violations:**
ICE agents are unlawfully targeting and arresting individuals based on skin color, placing them in inhumane conditions or deporting them. The United States was built on the contributions of immigrants, who are the backbone of our workforce in restaurants, construction, and agriculture. We must protect their dignity and rights.

2. **Public Health Risks:**
The current administration's policies threaten to cause another pandemic due to neglect and inadequate health measures. We must prioritize health and safety for all Americans.

3. **Protection of Vulnerable Populations:**
Special needs individuals are being mistreated by healthcare providers, including unethical dental practices that harm their health and dignity. These actions are unacceptable and must be addressed immediately.

4. **Women's Rights Under Threat:**
