Windsor Archery has become a source of pride within our school district, with student-athletes dedicating countless hours to training, competition, and personal growth. These students have represented Windsor with excellence—earning placements at state and national levels and bringing home trophies that reflect their hard work and commitment.
Despite these achievements, Windsor Archery is currently categorized as a club sport and does not receive the same recognition as other sports and extracurricular activities within the district.
At this time:
Archery seniors are not included in senior poster displays
Team and individual trophies are not publicly displayed
Student achievements at the state and national level are not formally recognized
Meanwhile, other sports and activities within the district receive these forms of recognition.
We believe that all students who represent Windsor and achieve excellence deserve equal acknowledgment, regardless of how their activity is categorized.
Archery is more than a club—it teaches discipline, focus, responsibility, and sportsmanship. It provides opportunities for students to compete at the highest levels and represent our community with pride.
We respectfully ask Windsor School District leadership to:
Include archery seniors in senior recognition displays
Display archery team and individual trophies alongside other school achievements
Publicly recognize student accomplishments at the state and national levels
Ensure equitable recognition for archery in alignment with other sports and activities
This petition is not about comparison—it is about fairness, inclusion, and celebrating all student success.
By signing this petition, we stand together in support of Windsor Archery athletes and their right to be recognized for their hard work and achievements.
Every student deserves to be seen, celebrated, and valued.
