Give this Animal Sexual Offender a REAL punishment!

George Smith, a guilty sex offender has been dealt with the following

- £200 in court costs
-A ten year ban from contact with animals
-120 hours of unpaid work..
- A FOUR week jail sentence, suspended for 12 months.

This is NOT an acceptable form of punishment for the sickening crimes he has committed. Equines often live in rural areas, that are not always monitored 24hrs a day with owners living on site, this man obviously has a problem and I believe he needs to be given jail time. At the end of the day, a sexual offence is a sexual offence, whether that is being performed on an animal, violating somebodies privacy or an abhorrent rape. Ultimately, being a sexual predator is a mindset and he has evidently proven himself to be capable of performing physical acts of abuse against animals.

As a horse owner in this area, I do not feel that this is justice. I feel it's a slap on the wrist, and completely undermining the severity of what he has done, and the potential of what he could do.

There is no time to reflect on what he has done, just a very brief act of justice.
