Athens is a tiny rural town in Texas that is having its Nativity scene threatened by the Freedom From Religion Foundation. We need to stand up and let these people know that the MAJORITY of Americans can accept and more importantly TOLERATE the spirit of Christmas, even if we do not necessarily believe in god!

To read the story, then do a little research on the web about other towns they have attacked. And yes I personally feel this is an attack to promote their atheist agenda. No more no less, I truly doubt these people really care about right or wrong. Or the legality of the nativity scene but only to promote their own beliefs at the cost to others.
We the undersigned respectfully ask that the Freedom From Religion Foundation (ffrf.org) please leave the people of Athens Texas alone and allow them to choose on their own if they want a Nativity scene displayed on their public, town or even government property.
We find it repulsive that an organization with no vested interest in this community is actually threatening them. We also wonder how long it will be before you threaten every community in our country to force your opinion onto others.
