one night there was some gun violence there is also a lot more of other violence that is undetected that us as a community do not know about. I would like to as a community be given an option to press charges against the offender even if we didn't witness the incident. I would like to be able to walk up to an officer and tell them if and when you catch the offender I would like to press charges as a community. our children are unsafe in a neighborhood that I grew up in this is important that my children are able to walk down the street in broad day light and feel safe even if there with me the parent or even at fifteen years old. this is important to me so that my 2,6 and 15 year old are ok when they walk home one day from school. This isn't to just put people in jail at all if there were better options out there to help people in order to get them to stop acting out then why not offer them a better solution like programs to get off drugs and alcohol or programs to help figure out what is going on with the that makes them act like this even if it's an inside your county treatment or an outside maybe a program that helps them find a job find housing get there life together in order to build a better foundation to guide them in there new path
