The animal lovers of the world were disgusted by the death of Cecil the lion in a gruesome manner. He was lured away from the Hwange park by professional hunters trailing a meaty carcass, then shot badly with an arrow by US dentist Walter Palmer. He slunk off in agony, and 40 hours later was found by them, shot and decapitated. It's still likely that his 24 cubs and lionesses will also be killed by other lions now.
Jimmy Kimmel was in tears as he described this to the US public, who were directed to donate by him to WildCru, the branch of Oxford University studying Cecil, but also funded by the cruel arrow hunters of endangered species known as Dallas Safari Club-the dentist was a member.
Please stop this cruel, abhorrent practice, if you have doubts, google crossbow hunting a lion on you tube.
