Someone in Florida has been cutting off the
heads of dogs and abandoning the animals' corpses for anyone to find. But authorities still don't know who is responsible.
Sign the petition to demand authorities continue investigating until they find the perpetrator of these serial attacks!In early January, Joseph Palermo - one of the co-founders of a local rescue organization called Paws 4 Life - discovered a bloodied, decapitated dog along a major highway in Florida. The animal had clearly been abused beforehand, as evidenced by the other injuries on its body.
That would already have been disturbing enough. But Palermo connected this to another case from early December, just one month prior. Another dog had been decapitated and left out in the open then, too.
Authorities have been investigating these dog-beheadings for the past two months, but it hasn't led to any results yet. That means that
another dog could turn up, butchered and disfigured, at some point in the future. And, as we know, cruelty against animals is often how abusers begin their crimes, sometimes
