Fight against Ethnic & Religious Cleansing In India

we are expressing our grave concern at the recent statement made by Mr Rajeshwar Singh leader of Dharm Jagran Samiti in coalition with the Bhartia Janta Party (BJP) that Islam and Christianity will be wiped out of India by 2021. The BJP dominated Indian Government has a primary duty of protecting and not intimidating the weakest and the most vulnerable section of its population, including the religious minorities.
We would request the Prime Minister to inform the Indian Prime Minister at their meeting on 30th January 2015, that this kind of statement discourages religious tolerance and inclusiveness among the varied Indian communities. It defies the principals of secularism, the principal foundation of Indian constitution. Furthermore, it is against the United Nations and the European Union’s stance on freedom of religion.
