NO NEW GAS TAXES FOR CALIFORNIA!

Californians did NOT vote to increase gasoline taxes and auto registrations, and Gov. Brown has proposed this tax without a vote by the people of California – ILLEGAL taxes without proper representation. (This was the same problem that ousted former California Gov. Gray Davis.) This is an outrage, and California voters NEED to have this initiative placed on a ballot and voted on to make it constitutionally valid by ALL VOTERS. If we don’t petition for this ballot measure, these taxes will go into the General Fund (just like other mismanaged taxes in California) for Gov. Brown's use on his "favorite" programs, and not for the costs of new highway, infrastructure and repair projects for which it is designed. The outcome should only be decided AFTER the California voters make that determination.
We NEED to create a ballot measure for California and vote on this outrageous tax initiative, before we become victims (once again) of Gov. Brown’s shady politics.
