Stop the Inhumane Slaughtering of Birds

Even though birds make up more than 95% of all land animals slaughtered for food in the United States, the USDA does not include them under the protections of the Human Methods of Slaughter Act. Birds are skinned, gutted, and dismembered while concious! Help make a difference! Urge the USDA to enforce controlled atmosphere killing (CAK). With this method birds will enter rooms to be fed, under no stress, while the oxygen levels are being reduced until the birds take their last breath. Animals are here for our use, not abuse!
