Designate Robotics as a varsity sport

As Dean Kamen, founder of FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) has said many times, "FIRST is the varsity sport of the mind".
Many students in the United States look up to celebrities and sports players as heroes. FIRST was created for the purpose of changing this ideology, and "To transform our culture by creating a world where science and technology are celebrated and where young people dream of becoming science and technology leaders."
Because we agree and believe in the importance of the FIRST experience to students at our school and its ability to change their perspective on the world, their career, and future, we want to establish FIRST Robotics as a varsity sport at our high school, to encourage participation.
