As we approach 2021-2022 school year the dress code for children should be reformed . Not only can forcing a child to cut their hair be detrimental to their self confidence. Also, letting a male student wear earrings has no bearing on their learning , like their hair. As we enter an age of express and gender fluidity this is an outdated standards that many schools in the Waco area have removedale males hair guideline that differ from the female . It is the wish of those that sign this petition that the change of hair and earrings be the same standard as already in place for females .That this issue be brought up and publicly voted on by the parents of the child in school not by the outdated views of the board , staff or non-current parents of attending children of China Spring Isd .
