HELP SAVE LOCAL JOBS - Don't replace valuable Culinary Institute employees!

First off I'd like to thank you for your time. I'll get right to my point. My name is Raymond Minew and I'm the President of the Culinary Craft Association at the Culinary Institute of America, made up of 45 men and woman of the facilities department, which includes Building maintenance, Plumbers, Electricians , HVAC, Carpenters, Painters, Groundskeepers, Recycling, and Campus specialist.

As of Friday, September 15th, 2017, the School has stated that they will be outsourcing local, hard working loyal union employees. 17 members will be losing their jobs to an outside company (LCS) for less money and very little benefits. We are asking for any support we can get to protect these jobs.

Please sign this petition in support for these 17 families being destroyed by the Culinary Institute of America. Most of these employees have been employed at the CIA for more then 20 plus years.

This is a disgrace to the community. A tax-free school should have an obligation to employe local community members with living wage jobs. Please join us and show your support. Thank you.
