How many of you Metro riders wish Metro fares weren’t so expensive? What if we told you it didn’t have to be? How many of you think about how much money you would save if taking Metro was cheaper? Well what if we told you we have a plan that may help you keep more money in your pocket. Our solution is to encourage Metro to rent space out to vendors so they can sell things to Metro riders. If their business is supported they will continue to pay rent to Metro to use their space. If Metro takes our suggestion into consideration, then they will raise money to refurbish their system, and Metro riders can buy things right in the Metro station.
Some of the advantages of our solution is taking Metro will become affordable vendors and Metro will see an increase in their funds. Also taking Metro will become more convenient for riders because they would be able to make purchases on their way out, in or while their waiting at the Metro station. Even though these advantages will affect your Metro experience in a positive way, there are a few disadvantages. The only major disadvantage is vendors may not be fully supported, and they won`t get enough business to pay Metro rent money, but I think that won’t be a problem because we all can agree that the vendors will be supported by hungry Metro riders. So if we can get your support in signing our petition, we can come up with a way to improve Metro and increase the amount of money you keep in your pocket.
