Well people who accept this need to know and think that this is a way for the government to make more money the more money company's make the more tax they pay so this 5p charge is going to gain the government a huge revenue in tax over the years people will say that my theory's are wrong and that this only speculation and it is only to date the planet that plastic bags take years to degrade but if this is the concern then why have they not given the option to chance from plastic to paper like the well known company primark if it was not about money they would have scraped plastic bags and converted to paper so please this is not me trying to get back at the government this is to change the law scrap the 5p a bag charge and convert to paper save the planet and stop the charge kill to birds with one stone people are struggling to live as it is stop the government from adding charges to everything making it harder for people to live think five bags on the average week at 5p a bag that about £25 pound a year on bags
