The point system at the dmv seems to be to extreme! Our dmv point system should be in place but the amount of time points stay on your driving record can be detrimental to our lives. The point system should be reconsidered depending on the severity of the infraction. Having a speeding tickets may accumulate to up to 2 points on our driving records. These 2 points will end up being on our driving records for 7 years! Only 1 point will be removed in 3 years and the second point in another 3 years.That is a considerable amount of time. Having these points on our driving records prevents many of the public from obtaining jobs that can help many families earn a better rate in pay. Which can help the population live a better life than we are having to live now. Please help by having the Dmv reconsider their point system so more jobs may be available to more people.
